Ok,
I wanted to launch on the 1st of Jan. But that is not meant to be
cause me and the programmer were still ironing out some bugs. And
the fact that I was still working on a New Year cartoon. But the
cartoon is all done lah.:D Phew. These couple of days have been
a rough ride.
Ok.. First things first. Ta dah! I hope you guys like the new Happeepill
theme. I ditched all the kiddy drawings and all that stuff. I like
this theme better cause its easy on the eyes.. not too bright :)
Ok, I made some changes to the site so let me give you a walk through.
Automated Registration!
Ok remember the time where you need to email me and wait donkey
months for the passwords to access the ICU page and be a Happeepill
member? Now you have to wait no longer cause you can be a member
instantaneously! Fill up the form PROPERLY, agree with the simple
terms and *POOF you are a member! Yaaahhhhh!
The reason, I decided to FINALLY pay somebody to get this system
up is because I didn't expect the members to grow. I used to add
new members manually, then one day, emails keep popping up, and
I cannot keep up anymore.
So, now with a hassle free registration AND the fact that ICU page
is protected... that means, I can produce MORE members-only content.
One thing though, even if you are a member before, you need to fill
up the form and register.. cause I am basically starting with a
clean slate. |

System
I
always wanted to know what you guys think about some articles
and cartoons, so I've set up a comment system. The comment box
will be available on selected content only and I plan to add more.
But
be nice when posting cause everything is moderated :D And oh yeah,
I ditched the Cbox.
Downloads
I am still in the midst of converting some
cartoons to mobile format so you can download and stick it in
your mobile phone. I tested mp4 formats and it worked fine.. I
am still working on 3GPs.

I
have opened an official Happeepill Youtube account. And I am
planning to post SOME of my cartoons there. I will also transfer
all the classics like NS Song over to the new channel. So if
you do have a Youtube account do subscribe! And I also planning
to contact anybody who post my stuff on Youtube to bring it
down. Although I am flattered cause you like my work, however,
I intend to keep my channel, the ONLY channel for Happeepill
stuff. I hope you understand and cooperate with the Evil Bunny.
Since most of you guys ditched your Friendster accounts, I have
no choice but to migrate to Facebook. My facebook account is
still empty but I intend to fill up with photographs of my friends
and family.
Ok to be honest, Twitter is a pain in the ass. I opened an account
and gave it a go... At first its alright then it started to
become a chore.. updating every single thing like "I am
in the office digging my nose." But anywho, I do have an
account and I don't know if I will ever tweet regularly. Maybe
I'll start with one tweet a day. So if you are active on Twitter,
add me:)
Do you what that means? If a Happpeepill Show ever gets done,
I will contact you guys via email, post a message on Facebook,
post a copy on Youtube after some days and also tweet everybody.

The
Direction
Right now, the plan I have with Happeepill
is to create more Happeepill Shows than writing articles. I will
only write stuff if I cannot translate my ideas into cartoon form.
Or maybe the topic is serious in nature.
How
often?
I don't want to make any promises but I will definately
try to produce as often as I can. You don't have to wait for 3
months for a cartoon like before, God willing. In the mean time
while I work on a cartoon, I will post some blog entries to update
the site so you guys will still know I am alive.

And if you found some broken links, or the registration page not
working, you can email me too.. One last thing, I am expecting
some bugs for the registration page... if you encounter ANY problems..

Lastly...
I
would like to thank everyone of you who still visit the site.
I mean, I ditched the site
to work on my pet project/business idea for 8 long months and
you guys are still here. Even though the unique visitors are an
average of 300 every day... I am surprised, cause I thought it
will dipped to zero.
And the fact that I seldom update much especially last year...
Anyway, I told myself not to work on ANY business ideas even if
the potential money is good because to be honest, I had enough.
I wanna see where Happeepill can go if I really focus on it. So
let's take this journey together :D |
