I wasn’t aware they are having this Miss Universe beauty contest thing. I used to watch it when I was a kid together with my sisters. I still remember if Miss Singapore said something dumb, all of us will be screaming at the TV. Haha..

After watching a bunch of Miss Universe pageants for years, I realize that I am always rooting for Miss Venezuela. I think South American women are the most beautiful. They have pretty eyes and big curly hairdos… among other things. Have you seen their soap operas? It’s insane.. it’s like they grouped a bunch of female models together and make them go through some crash course acting lessons. I don’t know a single word of Spanish but I find myself glued to the TV for an hour.

Anyway, I’m guessing that beauty and Miss Universe is big business in Venezuela.

As I get older, I don’t recommend these sort of beauty contests because it’s just so wrong to see women being paraded in their bikinis for all to gawk at. No matter what TV, newspapers and people around you say. And I can also bet that one day, as society degenerate itself further, they will allow the contestants to wear THONGS instead. You just wait and watch.
