I will never see diamonds the same way again. This movie give guys the reason to switch the diamond engagement wedding to jade instead. The movie is entertaining as well as educational- an edutainment if you will. You enjoy what you are watching and you learn something at the end of the movie. No need to read stacks of boring books. If they create a movie for every chapter in my dull history book, I would be an expert historian by now but instead I got a freaking D7. I can so see it now, Sir Stanford Raffles would be played by Tom Cruise and William Farquhar would be played by Gurmit Singh. Man, I would so absorb them history info like a sponge!

Ok, back to the movie! It’s good, go see it. Leonardo DiCaprio is excellent. I think he is underrated since Titanic. This guy got some world class acting talent. He's not afraid to get down & dirty & look stupid sometimes to portray the emotions of the character unlike 1 dimensional, I-have-to-look-cool at all times local actors we so abundantly have.

Even though you know it’s Lenardo on the screen, his acting makes you forgot that’s its him and you look at the character instead. He is good on “The Departed” and he is good here! Watch him talk with a different accent when he is communicating with a short rebel.

And 1 more thing, if things get messed up in Singapore.. Just say “T.I.S” which means "This is Singapore". You’ll get it once you watch the show.
